Appchain is building useful onchain apps. We're an L2 on top of Ethereum, built on the Arbitrum Orbit stack. We are a low cost, high throughput chain with the goal of building apps for all internet users
AppChain is a mainnet blockchain purpose-built for cross-chain interoperability and bridging that uses ETH as the native gas token. It enables secure asset transfers, cross-chain swaps, NFT movements, and generalized message passing so dApps can access multi-chain liquidity and settlement. Developers use it for omnichain payments, liquidity routing, and bridge-native workflows without relying on a wrapped gas token.
AppChain is unique because it runs on mainnet with an ETH-native fee model, simplifying user experience and eliminating the trust and friction of bridged or alternative gas tokens. It is optimized specifically for cross-chain workflows—asset transfers and message passing—reducing hops and consolidating liquidity compared to general-purpose L1/L2s. For objective comparison, evaluate live metrics such as average gas cost, block speed, TPS, and daily active addresses; as of Sep 2025, AppChain has not published audited figures for these KPIs.
AppChain uses ETH as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain ETH by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge.
To bridge ETH to AppChain, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select AppChain as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.
To build on AppChain you can use thirdweb, which provides an easy way to build, monetize and scale your apps, games or agents. You can find detailed guides and documentation on https://portal.thirdweb.com to get started quickly.
To add AppChain to your wallet, you can connect your wallet and click on [Add to Wallet] button at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can add the network manually using the RPC URL and chain details and add it to your wallet's network settings.
To send ETH on AppChain, ensure your wallet is connected to the AppChain network, enter the recipient's address, specify the amount of ETH to send, review the gas fee, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
