An EVM-compatible Cosmos Layer-1, Aura Network focuses on NFTs and consumer dapps, delivering fast, low-cost transactions with IBC interoperability and developer-friendly tooling.
Aura Network is a Cosmos SDK mainnet with CosmWasm smart contracts and IBC-native interoperability, purpose-built for NFT-centric and consumer dApps; its native currency is AURA. Core use cases include NFT minting/marketplaces, gaming assets, loyalty and membership programs, and cross-chain settlement via IBC and EVM bridges. For performance, Aura typically delivers ~2-second blocks, sub-cent average gas fees, and sustained hundreds of TPS with 1k+ peak bursts, supporting steady IBC transfer and NFT activity (see AuraScan for live stats).
Aura is differentiated by an NFT-first stack—NFT-aware explorer/indexers, SDKs, and enterprise tooling—paired with CosmWasm programmability and IBC connectivity to the wider Cosmos plus bridges to EVM ecosystems. Compared with general-purpose L1s, it offers ~2-second finality and sub-cent fees, enabling high-throughput workloads like NFT drops and gaming that would be cost-prohibitive on Ethereum L1. This combination of low fees, fast finality, and native cross-chain support makes Aura well-suited for consumer-scale, multi-chain applications.
Aura uses AURA as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain AURA by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge.
To bridge AURA to Aura, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select Aura as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.
To build on Aura you can use thirdweb, which provides an easy way to build, monetize and scale your apps, games or agents. You can find detailed guides and documentation on https://portal.thirdweb.com to get started quickly.
To add Aura to your wallet, you can connect your wallet and click on [Add to Wallet] button at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can add the network manually using the RPC URL and chain details and add it to your wallet's network settings.
To send AURA on Aura, ensure your wallet is connected to the Aura network, enter the recipient's address, specify the amount of AURA to send, review the gas fee, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
