A public blockchain testnet for developers, Corn Testnet provides a stable sandbox with chain ID 21000001 and native BTCN currency for integration and testing.
Corn Testnet is a BTCN-denominated staging network designed for safe, pre‑production testing of the Corn cross-chain bridge and BTCN-based applications. It lets developers simulate cross-chain deposits/withdrawals, relayer behavior, fee dynamics, and upgrades using faucet BTCN with no real-world value.
Corn Testnet is optimized for cross-chain workflows—focusing on bridge message passing, relayer dry-runs, and failure/upgrade scenarios—while using BTCN as the native gas currency. Compared with production chains, it prioritizes rapid iteration and negligible costs; however, as of Sep 2025 there are no official public metrics for average gas cost, block time, TPS, or activity, so any observed testnet performance should not be used for throughput or cost estimates.
Corn Testnet uses BTCN as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain BTCN by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge, or through faucets (for testnet).
To bridge BTCN to Corn Testnet, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select Corn Testnet as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.
To build on Corn Testnet you can use thirdweb, which provides an easy way to build, monetize and scale your apps, games or agents. You can find detailed guides and documentation on https://portal.thirdweb.com to get started quickly.
To add Corn Testnet to your wallet, you can connect your wallet and click on [Add to Wallet] button at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can add the network manually using the RPC URL and chain details and add it to your wallet's network settings.
To send BTCN on Corn Testnet, ensure your wallet is connected to the Corn Testnet network, enter the recipient's address, specify the amount of BTCN to send, review the gas fee, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
