CrossFi is a mainnet Layer-1 with native XFI that combines EVM compatibility with Cosmos SDK/IBC interoperability to deliver low-cost, high-speed payments and cross-chain DeFi. Primary use cases include bridging assets between EVM and Cosmos chains, real-time merchant and remittance payments, DEX trading/lending, staking, and settlement for wallets and dApps, with XFI used for gas, security (staking), and governance.

CrossFi’s hybrid architecture (Solidity/EVM + native IBC) provides trust-minimized interoperability across ecosystems while preserving familiar Ethereum tooling. Performance highlights: ~2-second block time with fast finality, sub-cent average gas for simple transfers, and capacity in the thousands of TPS (with live throughput typically in the double- to low triple-digit TPS range); compared with Ethereum L1’s ~12s blocks and far higher fees, this enables cheaper, near-instant transactions and smoother cross-chain UX. Network activity varies with dApp demand; check the public explorer for current daily transactions and active addresses.

CrossFi uses XFI as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain XFI by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge.

To bridge XFI to CrossFi, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select CrossFi as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.

To send XFI on CrossFi, ensure your wallet is connected to the CrossFi network, enter the recipient's address, specify the amount of XFI to send, review the gas fee, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
