Primary use cases include settling bridged asset transfers to/from EIOB, paying gas for dApp interactions, and acting as a base asset for liquidity pools and on-chain payments. As of Sep 2025, official performance metrics—average gas cost, block speed, TPS, and user activity—have not been published.

EIOB’s uniqueness lies in its native integration with a cross-chain bridge, enabling predictable fee settlement in EIOB and streamlined liquidity routing across connected networks. Unlike general-purpose L1s, it is positioned as an interoperability-first settlement layer optimized for cross-chain asset flows and on-chain fee consolidation. For performance comparison, current benchmarks—average gas cost, block time, TPS, and active addresses—are not publicly available (as of Sep 2025); monitor the forthcoming explorer/status page for updates.

EIOB uses EIOB as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain EIOB by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge.
