Intersect is a production EVM mainnet built on AvaCloud with PEARL as its native gas token, optimized for low-cost, high-throughput apps and seamless cross-chain bridging. Primary use cases include DeFi and payments with predictable sub-cent fees, real-time gaming/NFTs requiring fast finality, and enterprise/creator economies leveraging custom fee markets and permissioning. Performance profile (AvaCloud-class): ~1–2s block times, 1,000+ TPS, and typical gas < $0.01; check the network explorer for current averages and active-address trends.

Intersect is unique for its AvaCloud-managed architecture: Avalanche-class consensus for near-instant finality, configurable economics with the PEARL gas asset, optional allowlists, and sponsored gas for streamlined UX. It supports native cross-subnet messaging (AWM/Teleporter) for fast, low-trust bridging while remaining fully EVM-compatible for wallets and tooling. Versus many L1s with ~10–12s blocks and $0.10–$1 fees, Intersect targets ~1–2s blocks, sub-cent gas, and 1,000+ TPS, delivering superior cost and latency for cross-chain dApps.

intersect uses PEARL as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain PEARL by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge.

To bridge PEARL to intersect, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select intersect as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.

To add intersect to your wallet, you can connect your wallet and click on [Add to Wallet] button at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can add the network manually using the RPC URL and chain details and add it to your wallet's network settings.

To send PEARL on intersect, ensure your wallet is connected to the intersect network, enter the recipient's address, specify the amount of PEARL to send, review the gas fee, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
