Rollux is Syscoin’s EVM-equivalent Layer 2 optimistic rollup on mainnet where gas is paid in SYS, built for high-throughput, low-fee execution. It targets DeFi, payments/micropayments, gaming, and cross-chain dApps that want Ethereum tooling without L1 costs. Typical performance: ~2s L2 block times, sub-cent average gas for transfers (often < $0.01/tx), and thousand-plus TPS capacity with growing daily active users and transactions—orders of magnitude cheaper and faster than L1s.
Rollux is unique in that it settles to Syscoin and leverages Bitcoin-anchored PoW security plus Syscoin’s Proof-of-Data Availability (PoDA), reducing data availability costs versus L2s that post to Ethereum. It stays fully EVM-equivalent (OP Stack–based) while using SYS as the native gas token, delivering ~2s blocks and high throughput with familiar MetaMask/ETH tooling. This combination of Bitcoin-anchored security, low DA costs, and SYS-denominated micro-fees differentiates Rollux from other L2s.
Rollux uses SYS as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain SYS by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge.
To bridge SYS to Rollux, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select Rollux as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.
To build on Rollux you can use thirdweb, which provides an easy way to build, monetize and scale your apps, games or agents. You can find detailed guides and documentation on https://portal.thirdweb.com to get started quickly.
To add Rollux to your wallet, you can connect your wallet and click on [Add to Wallet] button at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can add the network manually using the RPC URL and chain details and add it to your wallet's network settings.
To send SYS on Rollux, ensure your wallet is connected to the Rollux network, enter the recipient's address, specify the amount of SYS to send, review the gas fee, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
