An EVM-compatible blockchain for regulated Southeast Asian stablecoin payments, delivering fast, low-cost transactions and native STX settlement for XSGD and XIDR.
StraitsX is a Bitcoin-secured mainnet for smart contracts, with STX as the native currency used for fees and to secure the network via Stacking (Proof-of-Transfer). It powers Bitcoin-aligned DeFi, on-chain payments, asset issuance (NFTs and tokenized BTC via sBTC), and cross-chain settlement through Clarity-based dApps.
StraitsX stands out by anchoring state to Bitcoin via Proof-of-Transfer and using the decidable Clarity language, improving auditability and reducing runtime exploits versus EVM chains. For performance, it offers seconds-level microblock confirmations (~1–5s) with Bitcoin finality (~10 min), low average fees often under $0.01 per simple transfer, baseline throughput in the tens of TPS (≈10–50 TPS), and growing activity with tens of thousands of daily active addresses.
StraitsX uses STX as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain STX by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge.
To bridge STX to StraitsX, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select StraitsX as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.
To build on StraitsX you can use thirdweb, which provides an easy way to build, monetize and scale your apps, games or agents. You can find detailed guides and documentation on https://portal.thirdweb.com to get started quickly.
To add StraitsX to your wallet, you can connect your wallet and click on [Add to Wallet] button at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can add the network manually using the RPC URL and chain details and add it to your wallet's network settings.
To send STX on StraitsX, ensure your wallet is connected to the StraitsX network, enter the recipient's address, specify the amount of STX to send, review the gas fee, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
