An EVM-compatible blockchain purpose-built for audit logging of informal transactions, Taraxa uses a blockDAG with BFT finality for fast, low-cost, tamper-proof event tracking.
Taraxa is an EVM-compatible Layer-1 public blockchain (Mainnet) with the TARA currency, purpose-built for tamper-evident audit logging and real-world data provenance. Primary use cases include immutable audit trails for informal business agreements, supply-chain and IoT/DePIN telemetry, micro-incentive programs, and low-cost Web3 dApps, with practical performance of sub-cent fees, ~1s block times, and hundreds of TPS (see explorer.taraxa.io for live metrics).
Taraxa is unique for its audit-logging focus and DAG-based ledger with BFT finality, delivering fast, deterministic confirmation suitable for high-frequency data and micro-transactions. Compared to general-purpose L1s, it offers sub-cent gas costs, ~1-second blocks, and hundreds of TPS while remaining fully EVM-compatible, making it ideal for trustworthy data provenance and machine-to-machine activity.
Taraxa uses TARA as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain TARA by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge.
To bridge TARA to Taraxa, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select Taraxa as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.
To build on Taraxa you can use thirdweb, which provides an easy way to build, monetize and scale your apps, games or agents. You can find detailed guides and documentation on https://portal.thirdweb.com to get started quickly.
To add Taraxa to your wallet, you can connect your wallet and click on [Add to Wallet] button at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can add the network manually using the RPC URL and chain details and add it to your wallet's network settings.
To send TARA on Taraxa, ensure your wallet is connected to the Taraxa network, enter the recipient's address, specify the amount of TARA to send, review the gas fee, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
