A public testnet blockchain for the blockchain.or.th ecosystem, using JINDA as its native currency and Chain ID 1708 for developer testing and integrations.
TBSI Testnet is the public testing network of the Thailand Blockchain Service Infrastructure (blockchain.or.th), using JINDA as the gas currency for deploying and validating smart contracts and dApps. It is used to sandbox cross-chain bridge flows, government/enterprise pilots (digital credentials, document notarization, asset tokenization), and end-to-end QA without real funds. As of Sep 2025, live metrics—avg gas cost, block speed, TPS, and daily activity—are provided on the official explorer; no canonical averages are published, so benchmark from the explorer in real time.
Unlike generic testnets, TBSI Testnet is tied to a national infrastructure initiative with governance and tooling tailored for compliance-ready integrations, providing stable endpoints, a faucet, and an explorer under blockchain.or.th with JINDA-based gas. Its uniqueness lies in production-parity environments for public-sector/enterprise pilots and a native focus on interoperability and bridging workflows. For performance comparisons, use the explorer’s real-time panels for avg gas cost, block speed, TPS, and network activity, as standardized third-party metrics are not yet widely published.
TBSI Testnet uses JINDA as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain JINDA by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge, or through faucets (for testnet).
To bridge JINDA to TBSI Testnet, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select TBSI Testnet as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.
To build on TBSI Testnet you can use thirdweb, which provides an easy way to build, monetize and scale your apps, games or agents. You can find detailed guides and documentation on https://portal.thirdweb.com to get started quickly.
To add TBSI Testnet to your wallet, you can connect your wallet and click on [Add to Wallet] button at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can add the network manually using the RPC URL and chain details and add it to your wallet's network settings.
To send JINDA on TBSI Testnet, ensure your wallet is connected to the TBSI Testnet network, enter the recipient's address, specify the amount of JINDA to send, review the gas fee, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
