Typical use cases include end-to-end swap rehearsals, integration QA for wallets/relayers/indexers, stress and security testing, and measuring latency and gas before mainnet deployment. It uses valueless MFD from a faucet so developers can deploy and iterate rapidly.

This Testnet is optimized for cross-chain bridge workflows: MFD as the native gas, faucet funding, replay-safe messaging, configurable rate limits, and rapid upgrade cycles for client/bridge releases. Performance is tuned for fast feedback—low average gas cost (near‑zero MFD), second‑level block times, and higher TPS during scheduled stress tests—so activity appears bursty compared to steady‑state mainnets. For apples‑to‑apples comparison, reference live explorer metrics (avg gas cost, block speed, TPS, and active addresses), which fluctuate as parameters are updated.

Testnet uses MFD as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain MFD by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge, or through faucets (for testnet).

To bridge MFD to Testnet, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select Testnet as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.
