Created by a team of Base/Coinbase alumni and OG ETH contributors, B3 is a horizontally scaled gaming ecosystem built on Base.
Our rollup network settles on Base, ensuring B3 transactions inherit the security of the EVM.
B3 is an EVM-compatible mainnet that uses ETH as its native gas token, designed to power cross-chain bridge flows and general-purpose dApps. Primary use cases include secure interchain asset transfers, liquidity routing for DeFi, and deploying applications (DeFi, NFTs, gaming) that benefit from ETH-denominated fees and standard Ethereum tooling.
B3 stands out by offering ETH-native gas on mainnet—eliminating gas token swaps—and full compatibility with common Ethereum wallets, RPCs, and smart contracts, which streamlines cross-chain UX. For apples-to-apples comparisons, verify live performance metrics—average gas cost, block time, throughput (TPS), and daily active users—via the official site or explorer at https://b3.fun, as standardized public benchmarks were not listed there at the time of writing.
B3 uses ETH as the gas token for transaction fees. You can obtain ETH by bridging from other chains or purchasing using thirdweb Bridge.
To bridge ETH to B3, connect your wallet to thirdweb bridge, select your source chain, choose the token you want to bridge, select B3 as the destination, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. The bridge will handle the cross-chain transfer instantly.
To build on B3 you can use thirdweb, which provides an easy way to build, monetize and scale your apps, games or agents. You can find detailed guides and documentation on https://portal.thirdweb.com to get started quickly.
To add B3 to your wallet, you can connect your wallet and click on [Add to Wallet] button at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can add the network manually using the RPC URL and chain details and add it to your wallet's network settings.
To send ETH on B3, ensure your wallet is connected to the B3 network, enter the recipient's address, specify the amount of ETH to send, review the gas fee, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
